Countries throughout the world face increasing challenges in balancing their economic expansion through exploiting natural resources with environmental protection. Despite increasing availability of digital data and models, most countries worldwide lack adequate digital landscapes, including detailed river networks (stream layers), to address a growing set of environmental questions.
