Public versus Analyst Attributes

VIPERMAPS watershed attributes are split into two categories.

A) Public or free containing more than 30 different attributes covering: 1) fluvial processes, 2) aquatic habitats, 3) vegetation, 4) topography, 5) erosion (landslide), 6) floodplain, 7) wildfire risk and 8) climate change.

B) Analyst/subscriber that contains another 30 to 40 watershed attributes providing more detailed information on 1) riparian processes, 2) erosion potential (landslide/debris flow), 3) floodplains and 4) roads. These data are available to those with access to NetMap's Virtual Watersheds and Analysis Tools, including those who have contracted with TerrainWorks to create Virtual Watersheds and analyses.

Also if you do not see your watershed in the map database and would like to have your own virtual watershed, with all attributes, including in VIPERMAPS, please contact us.
