Data Types: Line (in channel).
Field Name: Beavers
Units: Binary: beaver favorable habitat (1), beaver non favorable habitat (0)
NetMap Level 1 Module/Tool: Aquatic Habitats/ Create Aquatic Habitats
Model Description:
Parameter Description: The west slope Cutthroat Trout Bayesian Belief Network (BBN) model of Peterson et al. (2008) calculates the probability of a fish population being present and persisting for 20-yr based on a set of physical channel parameters and other land use related watershed attributes. NetMap contains two models (#1) the full BBN that include ten state variables and (#2) an intrinsic potential (IP) version that includes three physical parameters (channel gradient, width and stream temperature). The one included in the Packaged Watershed Assessments is the IP version.
